For new authors, my coaching helps you find your voice and shows you your options in the path ahead. For experienced authors, I offer a sounding board and help you stay focused along the journey. Whether you’re starting your own brand new book or need help writing and editing an existing manuscript, I don’t stop until both of us are completely satisfied. Why? Because I’ve been there and I know how much work it takes! Having someone in your corner to help figure out all the different options is so much easier than to learn everything from scratch.

Writing Coach
Let’s bring your ideas to life! I specialize in guiding authors as they write their memoirs since I believe that everyone has a story to share. On a case-by-case basis, I also help writers with their nonfiction books, essays, novels, children’s stories, and more.
Editing Coach
It’s time to fine tune your work! I like to start larger projects with an editorial assessment that will help you take an objective look at your own manuscript. From there, we’ll drill down into the details by addressing any copyediting and proofreading needs.
Publishing Coach
Your polished manuscript is ready for release! We’ll go over the details of self-publishing your book on major distributors or talk about your other options. As a bonus, we’ll talk about your marketing options to set your new book up for success in the world.

Two of my biggest values are good organization and great communication. So, let’s start by setting up a time for a phone call or video meeting! I offer a FREE half hour where we discuss your dreams and goals, brainstorm ideas, and discuss options in working together.
My current coaching rate is $75 per hour.
Coaching that Produces Results
Many times, new authors think that they can do everything on their own. Other times, it is easy to feel completely overwhelmed with all of the various options and directions that are available to someone starting out on their own book journey. Whether you are just looking for someone to discuss the options or need someone to lead you step-by-step in the right direction, I’m here to help!
When signing up for regular coaching, here’s what to expect:
- Goal-Setting. At our initial meeting, we will talk about you and your dreams to excel. From there, we will set some goals and a plan to move forward.
- Regular Meetings. Whether you prefer weekly, biweekly, or monthly check-ins, consistency matters! By meeting regularly, we set aside time for dedicated discussions that address ways to grow, challenge yourself, and move forward.
- Great Communication. I always want to hear your thoughts, including what is going well and what is not working out for you. As I provide a sounding board for your thoughts and ideas, we determine what is the best course of action for you as we move forward.
- Detail-Sharing. If you’re looking for organizing assistance, I’m glad to provide you with a summary of our discussions as a follow-up to each coaching call. Each document will summarize what we talked about and offer a helpful plan of action in ways that you can move forward during the time in between meetings.
- Big-Picture Planning. Whether you are looking to post a blog in one week or publish a book in one year, I’m here to help you think both on the day-to-day and the long-term. That’s why it’s so important to set good goals from the beginning and work toward them, one step at a time.
- Affordable Pricing. Every project is customized to best serve the client, so I am happy to give you a quote with the breakdown of costs and the estimated turnaround time before we start coaching. For first-time clients or those with extenuating circumstances, I am happy to provide a custom discount for the first project that we do together directly. Please be honest about your situation.
